Integral Design: seeing through new eyes

Integral design brings different lenses (perspectives) to an issue, idea, wall treatment, mural, use of lighting or color creation. For instance, in creating a color, you must consider the different lighting situations that the color will appear in throughout the days or seasons.

Integral design also asks a multitude of questions, which offers an opportunity to discover a better sense of you, the client. The intention is to find the unique solution to the design problem, one that "creates beauty with the most economy of means" which is called SHIBUI in Japanese philosophy.

For me, incorporating integral design into my work involves discovering what is really precious to an individual and materializing it in their lives.
